I was at my friendly Rolex AD and looked at his other cases and ran across the new 2007 Breitling Superocean Heritage 46mm with rubber strap ..... It is really really nice.
Here a link to the website. Look under heading "model", "new 07"

It is nice but I can't help but see the Rolex influence in the watch. I have owned Breitlings before but I keep coming back to Rolex. I owned a Super Ocean and a Colt. I always kicked myself saying for a thousand more it could have been a Rolex.

Nice watches, I own a skagen with a titanium mesh bracelet and I must say it is VERY comfy...

Ok I did some reading, apparently the breitling 17 caliber is a modified 2824-2. Is the "modified" movement really worth the extra $2000 of an "unmodified" Tissot compared to a Breitling.
