  1. Love it, that's the other Omega I have my eye on as well!
  2. Thanks for the replies! I was able to find a little more out by looking up "Omega RAF watch" too. What a beautiful watch!! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. The watch in the image below appears on the Omega site, but no info is listed about it. I found this on the page where all the Omega NATO straps are listed. It's a beautiful field-style watch - googling "Omega field watch" really didn't show anything similar to it. Interested to hear if anyone knows what it is! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. Thanks everyone!! slowturbo - I really like the Omega NATO too, although it's a little spendy.. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. I wound up getting a Maratac Composite Elite strap from WestCoastTime. It's soft on the wrist, I like the texture of the band and the white contrasting stitching too. A great deal at only $21! I still want to get a GGB for the Speedy as well. Just thought I'd share info on the strap in case anyone else was interested: http://www.westcoastime.com/composite-elite.html Here is a photo of the strap from the site as well:
  6. You went all in on the customization of your GGB!! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. Thanks again!! guelerct - love the Omega NATOs, another great look! fania123 - I was going to ask if you got your GGB with on of the embroidered tags. The one you chose is probably the one I would pick too - that one or the "Dwg. Number" tag.
  8. Thanks everybody! Now starts the search for a new strap(s) - so far I've been looking at a Nylon/Velcro GasGasBones, leather NATO Horween from Worn & Wound, or a black Omega kevlar strap. So many choices that look great on a Speedmaster, what a fun watch!
  9. After I got my first Rolex a few months back I became really interested in some other watches as well, and decided that I wanted to make a Speedmaster my next purchase. Thanks to a great income tax refund, this morning I had the pleasure of opening my first FedEx package with an Omega in it! I picked up a Speedy Moonwatch from DavidSW, whoever owned this watch previously took really great care of it, I couldn't be happier with my new-to-me watch! Here it is, what a beauty!! 10. Agreed, that's a great looking choice!! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. To me, the 42mm manual winding Speedy Pro Moonwatch is the quintessential version of this watch, I got my 3570.50 from a TRF trusted seller, to me $2,000 for this watch is a bit on the low side. Mine was in excellent/like new condition with box/papers for about $2800. I could have paid a couple hundred less likely, but having worked with the seller previously, it was good insurance to know I was getting exactly what I wanted. I have seen the smaller Racing version of this watch for sale online from grey market sellers for not much more than I paid for my watch new: http://www.authenticwatches.com/omeg...l#.VXuttM7gLzK They're great watches, good luck with your search!
  12. Agreed, it's a gorgeous watch!!
