  1. Invicta, like many other watch companies make several varieties of watch, from entry level/fashion, to ultra high end models. Most automatics (current production) have unbranded Seiko NH35 (Seiko 4r35) movements. The high end automatics use the Swiss made Sellita SW200 or the SW500 for chronographs. Both the Seiko NH35 And The Sellita SW200/500 are world class movements currently in use by many top watch manufacturers. I would avoid the Chinese made movements, with the exception of the models equipped with the Seagull TY800 Tourbillon movement. The entry level/intermediate quartz models have the Hattori aka Epson aka TMI (Time Module Inc) aka Seiko PC32 movement. The higher end quartz models are equipped with the Swiss Ronda 515 movement and the ultra high quality Ronda 8040.N movement. I find it humorous that many of the avowed "Invicta haters" are in fact wearing watches containing the very same movement as the Invicta model they are criticizing!
