  1. Hi all, Finding it quite difficult to rotate the bezel on my sub and having to apply far more pressure than should be required... It will turn but certainly not as freely as it should. Fear that there might be a build up of dirt or other grime perhaps. Is there any quick fix for this without having to remove the bezel? A spray or something? Cheers and thanks for your help in anticipation, Regards, Ian
  2. Thanks guys, Dropped it off at RSC in Melbourne. 8 to 10 weeks turnaround at the moment... Cheers, Ian
  3. Sorry, should have searched before posting...but was in a bit of a panic...and have just found some other similar posts... But have I done anything wrong by putting the stem back in? Regards, Ian
  4. Hi guys, Hopefully not too dumb a question...but should the crown/winder simply pull out? I was just changing the time on my TT sub and found it hard to pull out to the second click...added a little force and the entire thing just pulled out... Should this happen? Probably did the wrong thing...but I put it back in again and was able to change time and date etc and appears to be working okay... Your advice would be really appreciated.
  5. Thanks 'widows son' so mote it be brother, ;-) Ian
  6. Thanks Asad, My mum bought it for him around 30 to 35 years ago I would think. He still has the original box that it came in which is red and rectangular in shape, about 5" long and 1.5" wide. But there are no serial numbers anywhere...is this normal for a watch of this age? As visible in the photos, the plating on the band looks like it is 'bubbling' in places for want of a better term... Should have mentioned that it appears to be working fine, but haven't yet checked it for accuracy or for how long it holds its charge... cheers, Ian
  7. Hi guys, Hoping one of you Omega experts can ID this for me and tell me if it is a real watch. It is my dad's, and yes he is still with us and no, I didn't inherit it etc. Knowing that I'm into Rolex and MB etc, he asked me whether it was worth getting serviced. But looking at it, although I don't know much about Omega watches, I'm not even convinced it is genuine... Thoughts appreciated...
