  1. I really love my SMP chronograph, never owned a Speedmaster. I don't have much input on the subject other than to say that this is my second favorite watch next to my Sub C which gets the majority of wrist time. Good luck with your hunt / decision!
  2. Go do a search on WatchUSeek. I haven't been involved with the Omega forum there much over the past 6-8 months but for a while there, this issue popped up at least a couple of times a month. Seems like there are some quirky things that can happen with the cal. 2500. However, I owned a PO for 2.5 years and never had an issue one.

    The wait is on!

I considered it but I will likely never go to space (no need for a plastic crystal) and like sapphire for the scratch resistance. I also like the caseback that shows the movement.

    The wait is on!

Would have liked a 3572 but went with a 3573.

    The wait is on!

Incoming next week... now the wait... and a not so subtle hint: My first Speedy... well technically second. Tried out a reduced this week and it was too small even for my 6.5" wrist. I've gotten used to a little larger watches like my Sub C and a 38mm sports watch just didn't look right. Nothing against the reduced though, it was beautiful and makes me crave my 42mm Pro even more now... ahhh the wait.... maybe someone would like to post a gratuitous picture of theirs to soften the wait? Thanks guys!
  6. ...I wish I hadn't sold it to fund another purchase but such is life.
  7. Thank you all for the very kind comments! Yes it's a 3573.50 "sapphire sandwich". I've had her for a week now and am enjoying it a lot. Have a great weekend everyone!
  8. ...Got this in last Friday; just got around to taking some pictures tonight. Introducing my new Speedy Pro on Gator. Enjoy! (and please excuse the rain drop in a couple shots )

    what do i have?

Yep, I concur with the other guys. The trend for both men and women today is large watches. I've seen women wearing 40mm+ watches like Subs and Daytonas and it looked great. You'll be just fine with anything in the 30's or lower 40's (mm).

    what do i have?

Well, I'm no expert but... the case back engraving is one of an Omega Constellation so it is definitely some variant of that. I did an image search online and it looks to be consistent with a model made for ladies call the Omega Constellation Quadra. There were quite a few variations so I cannot specifically give a model number. Maybe that will be a good starting point. The 56979895 number on the caseback is the watches serial number. The 6554/866 number is the bracelet part number (kind of like watch model # but for the bracelet). Maybe there is someone else on here who can give you more information. Good luck with your search and let us know what you find out!
