  1. Hello, can someone please help me interpret the following test slips for a GMTII and a SUB? (1) I'd like to know if, based on these tests, I should service either watch. (2) Can someone please point to me a reference, or give me the rundown on the symbols on the "timing" test, as well as what position relates to what symbol? (3) The GMTII seems to be keeping better time per the test, but in what position is the +008? Thank you in advance!
  2. After owning a 45.5 Orange PO for over a year as my daily wearer, I sold it this past spring to help fund my first Rolex. Here it is on the rubber strap, but I had it typically on the S/S bracelet: And, I had to own one again. I loved the feel of that watch, on my 8.5" wrist. Well, now I do own one again, but this time a black bezel 45.5 with orange numbers: GLAD TO BE BACK!!!
  3. Congrats! I love my 45.5, not too big, not too small...
  4. Two great watches! Congrats!
  5. 80930xxx 2200.50 = no 8168xxxx 2200.50 = no 817092xx 2200.51 = no 817341xx 2208.50 = yes 818xxxxx 2200.50 = yes 8186xxxx ????.?? = yes
  6. Adding a few more from another post: 8168XXXX 2200.50 = NO 817092XX 2200.51 = NO 817341XX 2208.50 = YES 818XXXXX 2200.50 = YES Please copy the above into your reply post and insert/add your s/n and model in the proper place based on serial number and indicate NO or YES if you have the stamp or not. Thanks!!! Oh, and please go at least 4 digits if not 5 or more if you can.
  7. Adding a few more from another post: 8168XXXX 2200.50 = NO 817092XX 2200.51 = NO 817341XX 2208.50 = YES 818XXXXX 2200.50 = YES
  8. If you have a PO (non-chrono) Big Size with a serial number between 817092XX and 817341XX. Please post here your s/n and if it has an anti-counterfeit stamp on the case cover. I am trying to get to the point in serial numbers where the PO (non-chrono) Big Size began having the stamp...thanks! 817092XX stamp = NO 817341XX stamp = YES This may have no relevance for anything, as Omega may not systematically install the case backs in particular order with a given case (ie their case back stock may have backs with and without the stamp intermixed), but what the heck...we'll see what happens as replies come in.
  9. Who cares, the watch is only worth what you are willing to pay for it. Keep shopping or ante up.
