Identified a Vostok dial

I cannot decide on this watch before and purchased it in a coincidence. I've owned a Kemmner watch with a similar dial but I don't know where the dial design came from, until I noticed this thread about a rare Lange prototype:

I haven't seen this Vostok dial, and I guess that it's real. The print isn't very good and the watch actually felt a franken. But I was confused of where this dial actually came from in the first place. There's no shortage of cheap dials for the frankenmakers, so why do they make this specially?

Could you offer some ideas?

Also, how would the degree markers use for navigation?
