Tell me why

Recommended Posts

Tell me why I should buy a Mako! Is the lume on a Mako better than the quartz diver,is the bezel easy to turn, and does back hacking harm the watch?

I have a Seiko SRP227 that I had regulated and it runs 10 seconds slow a day. Should I get better accuracy from a Mako?

There is no way of knowing if a Mako will be more accurate.

But you can regulate the Seiko to be more accurate. Even the overnight resting position of the watch can affect the speed. For my Seiko 7s26 movement(I think it may be the same movement in your watch), dial up speeds it up, whilst crown down slows it down.

In my experience with bit a Mako and a Mako XL, they are accurate to @ 8-10 seconds a day. But again, resting position, use, etc will affect every mechanical movement.

Orient has a very high quality in house movement.
