I recently want to buy an orange Seamaster, I had tried 8500 and 9300 in an exclusive shop, but for the different movement, they have $3300 gap in price with an unengaging discount. Though the Cal.9300 is beautiful, it priced too high that amount to a Rolex price. So, I'm here to ask for some advices, thanks!

Due to the complexity of these movements, it's normally that Cal.9300 chronometer priced higher (the price gap is about $1980). It might not appropriate to comare with Rolex in price, they are two different brands. I have owned a Rolex Daytona, but I later bought a PO 9300 for instead because this watch is right to my taste and it is a worthy watch thought it has $3300 gap in price comparing with Rolex chronograph. In short, if there is an engaging discount, I'll recommend PO 8500 or 9300.

Agree, you should not be vexed. Like that I had a De Ville 8601 whose price is nearly amount to a Rolex, but I still choose it, the one I like and suit my present work and living place, and next time, I'll buy a sports Rolex. Therefore, the point is to buy your favourite and most suitable watch first, then plan to buy the one you like and you didn't have.

The price gap between 8500 and 9300 doesn't up to $3300, it is just $1980. Of course 9300 is relatively overbalance.

Indeed, but I don't think Omega is worthy of this price.

Just depend on yourself. It's no use to emphasize the practicability of high-price watch, because the common inexpensive quartz watch is great in practicability. People who bought a high-price are undoubtly liking its fine texture and attractive look, I bought a 9300 for the design of its dial, and its new adopted movement is worth of this price.

I have worn a 9300 for over half year, very accurate and durable, the only shortcoming is its weight, too heavy!

9300 Speedmaster is good, lighter and thinner than Seamaster.

PO 600 looks great, I was going to buy one but when I tried it on, I felt it was too heavy for me, so I finally bought a Rolex 116710LN.

42mm 8500 is good enough. It's hard to wear a 45.5mm.
