If so, which year did the Crosswind cease production? Any ideas?

Yep, this Crosswind Special cease production.

This is a nice watch, adopted the modified ETA 2892 movement. The Rider Tad is polished, which brightens the whole watch. If you love the Chronomat of 3-6-9 sub-dial layout(the Crosswind Racing with 7750 movement has 6-9-12 subdials), Crosswind Special is a nice watch.

Compared with Crosswind special and evolution, which one would you choose?
In my opinion, I prefer to the evolution because of the dial. But the big date of crosswind special looks interesting. So it can be hard to choose these watches.
