4 Hz balance, 8bps, the high frequency of balance is 28800 alternances/hour
5 Hz balance, 10bps, the ultrahigh frequency of balance is 36000 alternances/hour
The frequency of balance is higher, the watch runs more accurate. Why?
The sport will cause vibration for daily wear, and the frequency of vibration approaches 5bps or 6 bps per second. That is 2.5 or 3 Hz balance. Based upon the resonance effect in physics, once the vibration of the wrist achieved the same frequency with the balance, the balance will be stuck and lose oscillation. So there are only 8bps and 10bps can resist the interference from daily life.
