Any watchmaker should be able to fit a crystal to that case. They were standard sized, just can't tell the size from your photographs.
As far as any information you'd be well advised to contact the official IWC collector's website:

The movement looks a lot like the Caliber 52 found on this page:

Funnily enough I was doing a bit of work on my IWC page about that patent just this morning.
It is not actually a patent for a "barrel-bridge winding construction" (whatever one of those might be) it is actually a patent for a form of stop work. See IWC, the International Watch Co..
